Biography
The prospects were not bright when the tall, blonde and attractive Dasha first came to America. United States from the Czech Republic. With only a shaky understanding of English language her only job could find was as a cleaner in the K-Mart located in Washington, DC. The baggy pants she wore disguised her stunning beauty, and she was a solitary candidate. In search of an opportunity to improve her life her and a companion purchased a beaten-up vehicle and drove it to Hollywood and became an actress in the topless bar.
Living in her car by the shores of Santa Monica, she decided she was in need of a better paying job. She went to an adult video shop and started taking a look at the covers of the products that were on display. Vivid Video, as she found was the most appealing covers. She wrote down the address of the street that was Vivid’s Vivid Office located in Van Nuys and drove there the next day. She then presented her at the office and requesting an application for employment. The receptionist was taken aback at Dasha and then called her boss to meet her. The rest is history.
Dasha was signed as an Vivid Girl, and was quickly got her first film, “Broken English,” which was a bestseller. Dasha caught the eye of major producers and was cast for The Deftones’ long-form video “Change” and then in the album’s artwork and music videos for Warner Bros. recording artist Brougham. Madonna chose her to play an appearance on the “Music” video. She was a model for well-known photographer David LaChapelle, and has been included in fashion magazines such like Flaunt as well as Dune (Japan). Playboy picked her to be an image of the most popular adult models.
The world is awed by her traditional European beauty and grace, Dasha draws packed audiences when she performs as an invited dancer in gentleman’s clubs across the country. Exotic Dancer Magazine, the trade journal of the gentlemen’s clubs circuit, chose Dasha as the “2002 Adult Movie Feature Entertainer of the Year.”
